Adam Smyth is an experienced banking and finance professional with a strong understanding of the current and ever-changing funding landscape. Adam has experience in funding sizeable property and corporate growth strategies across a number of industries.

Since establishing Willow and Oak back in 2010, Adam has successfully arranged in excess of $750 million in funding lines across a broad range of bank and non-bank lenders.

Prior to establishing his own business, Adam spent five years within the commercial banking division at Macquarie Bank Limited.

Adam’s role involved the provision of funding for commercial property transactions and cash flow funding to various industries, as well as funding for property developers, investors and high net worth individuals.

Much of the cash flow funding needs were driven by merger and acquisition (M&A) activity and internal equity transfers. This involved assisting clients in understanding many of the issues involved in the M&A process and providing a sounding board in the negotiation process.

Adam is responsible for working closely with both our Investor clients and professional service firms including Accounting, Financial Planning and Legal firms.

Adam is also a member of Bowery Capital’s Investment Committee.

Adam holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.

Adam loves nothing more than spending time with family and friends, travelling and is a keen spectator and participant in a broad range of sports.
